Personally, I blame the overabundance of Nolan Batman threads.

Bender's a really big fan of the movies and was truly disgusted by the vitirol being spread by various not-Mawds. He told me that he was heading to CBR, where his blind fanboy love would be better accepted by people he considered his peers.

dead in a ditch, rusting away, or sulking - what does it matter, he's gone and I for one am glad to not be wading hip deep in "Mawd Abuse!" threads

we are hemorrhaging posters - some are gone for (what seems to be) good - nate and some others who I have already forgotten
- regulars decreasing their time here - 4thy, TerriG, Topo

all while we scare off 98% of the new posters who try and venture into the forums.

If we are to believe TPTB, the outhouse's front page is growing by leaps and bounds (congratulations) - but we get no new blood in the forums, I have no idea how that works.

So, again, poor Bender got his feelings hurt and took his ball and went home, at least with him gone and the lack of topo the 20+ finally died the death that so many of you said was dragging this place down.

I've noticed them too, but thought I read that Terri was on tour or something. Topo was busy with a lady... 4thy getting busy with life... I miss folks.

I liked the 20+.
