Yeah, welfare recipient is kind of bad since we all know he was talking about black people. What I wonder is do black people not care as much about dog fighting or is it Vick they care about.

A little of both. I won't be disingenuous and say race has nothing to do with that support, but dogfighting probably isn't as high as it should be on the list of bad offenses when it comes to blacks. Plus I'm sure the public outcry seemed overplayed to many.

Lets be serious, if someone tortured your dog, you wouldn't kill them. Jail time isn't worth a dead dog.

Okay, mabye the "welfare" comment was a little much. But I've seen more than a few white people wearing V**k jerseys since the former QB went to the Pen. And I doubt they were in the six figure dept.

My problem with the Vick situation has always been the utter hypocrisy in the outcry, not that I felt Vick was wrongly treated. God help someone become so angry over the murder of their favorite burger ingredient. Fairly or not, they'd be called a animal-rights nut.

But the man broke the law, so I have no problem with what happened to him.

I actually prefer the company of my two dogs over most people. Humans are overrated. :-D

If someone fucked with my fish you can bet your ass I'm going to fuck them up. Not kill them, but I will make them think twice about harming another animal.
