Really? I thought it was just twelve issues and that's it. If there's more then good. I want to see more of Batman Inc before DC stops uses it.

I love the optimism of this post, though I'm not sure exactly what it means. I'm thinking something like after Didio leaves things at DC will get better?

Discounting monthlies, I'm 95% DC and 5% Marvel.

So I'd say Didio is all right in my book.

And OMAC was fantastic fun! He'll always have my thanks for that.

Like who cares that hal Jordan swore that Hanes was his underwear of choice in Green Lanter 45 from 1972? It's stuff like that which hurts the industry.

I couldn't disagree more.

I think the continuity helps.

You don't always need to mention the Hanes undies... but if he ever fights the Hanes Undies monster again you can reference the story and how he won. Rather than pretend this is the first time he's fought the Hanes monster.

Is every encounter with the Joker the first? If not you have continuity. You don't have to reference EVERY comic he's ever appeared in... just any that are relevant to your story.

Overall, DC is selling 300,000 more units per month than this time last year. That's a 17% increase from last year.

They are currently publishing 52 monthly mainstream books... is that comparable in number to the total monthly mainstream books last year?

I was getting 21 from each company (plus 2 from Dynamite and 1 from Dark Horse).

As stated above, I am only getting 6 DC books now.

Marvel has benefited by getting 13 additional books added to my pull list and I'm getting 2 new Dynamite books as well.

A lot of people who were hear when I first showed up knows that I was a huge fan of DC, more so than Marvel. There was a lot I liked in the early years, and I'm one of the few that actually enjoyed Identity Crisis and John's Crisis event.

But I will say that my DC books has dropped drastically since Flashpoint. The new DC has made it an even lighter load. For me it's not a direction I'm interested in reading. However I also think Batman and Batman and Robin are probably two of the strongest comics that are coming from either of the big two right now.

John's magic pen seems to be running low on ink and Dan really had no business trying to write a comic book... ANY comic book. Add to the fact that he's now added Liefeld to his roster and I can positively say that I'm a Marvel guy at the moment.

But I also don't dislike Dan or John. I've spoken with Dan on several occasion, albeit briefly for the most part, and he's always been very nice and respectful to me and the fans I've watched him converse with. Same goes for most of the DC staff that I've had a chance to meet.

But right now DC just doesn't interest me much.

Can someone explain the Snyder love in Batman?

I think it's OK... but just that... OK.

The whole Court of Owls thing is nothing new... a secret organization that targets Batman and his 'family. Batman is almost broken mentally and physically. *Yawn* It was old when Bane did it in the 90's.

Plus the shoehorning of the Court into Batman's past was about as subtle as when they did it with Hush... which was as subtle as a train hitting a dynamite factory while carrying C4 and extra rocket fuel.

What's dumber is that Morrison was doing basically the same freaking thing with Leviathan in Batman, Inc. And it fit into Bat's history a whole lot better than the Owls ever did.

The Black Mirror really. And compared to Tony Daniels, Judd Winick, David Finch, and sad to say even Dini (during Street of Gotham not his Tec run) his run is just so much better.
