'cause that worked really well with Superman Returns

Again, it helps if other people in the movie are acting too. Aside from Kevin Spacey doing his best impression of a bad Lex Luthor impression, there was no acting there.

I thought Chris Hemsworth did a good job as Thor, the movie would have sucked if he did what you claimed he did.

Casting wrestlers in movies is stupid, I don't need someone imposing I need someone who can sell the part on ability alone.

Despite not being a great film, the guy who played Sabertooth in Wolverine was 10 times better than Tyler Mane. Even though he was smaller and less imposing, and Apache Chef's twin.

It'd be nice if we could find someone with the right body type to play wonder woman, but you need someone who can act first and foremost.

No. That is what lead to horrible movies like the ones mentioned above plus other abominations like Steel (anyone remember that fiasco?).

That was Chris Hemsworth as Chris Hemsworth wearing a Thor costume. It was his innate charm that sells the character, not any actual acting ability on his part.

But it was never really a serious claim to begin with. Just an "I could see it happening."

That's unfair, I'm not saying he's an amazing actor. But the three parts I've seen him in are diverse enough to show that he has some talent.

It's not a knock, there's a nice market for charming attractive guys (see: Channing Tatum), I just don't think he's much more than what he's already presented.

Channing Tatum can be decent. 21 Jump Street is proof of that. He's no Keanu Reeves.

Ah that sucks, I know she doesn't look much like WW but I was hoping she could kick lots of ass to compensate.
