So the European Championships are kicking off in just over an hour with Poland Vs Greece, so here's an all-purpose thread for em.

Who do we think will win? Spain? Germany? Holland? Ireland? Will the whole tournament be abandoned when Mario Balotelli shoots a racist fan? Will England be as shit as everyone expects? Will a 'dark horse' (surely that's racist?) like Czech Republic or Croatia cause an upset?

I can't wait!

Probably the hardest international tournament to predict they are all so closely matched but I suspect the Germans might just do it.

Poland vs Greece is sure to be a thrilling advertisement for international football, so I think that Germany\Portugal will be the first game I watch live. I think I'm busy during Holland\Denmark

Greece played like shit in the first half, especially the first 20 minutes. Poland made a mistake by not trying to finish the Greeks off and instead pulling back. The red card was a fucking joke. Neither of those plays were even fouls, let alone yellow cards. A referee that has given out 16 red cards in 19 matches this year should not have been selected for the Euro. The penalty not given to Greece was a bad call as well.

The second half was much better. Greeks are stubborn people and once they feel wronged, they get pissed off. They dominated the second half and could have even won. Terrible penalty kick. I can't believe the Polish coach left two substitutes on the bench. What are you saving them for? Your team is flat for the who half, make a change.

I'm happy with the result.
