Updating Micros for my team, still thinking about my last few picks.

Oh yeah, I'm cool with starting the Lantern draft whenever.

Batman, Inc

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Flash (Wally West), The Question (Vic Sage), Dr. Irons, Connor Hawke, Zachary Zatara, Mon-El

Why join Batman, Inc.?

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
Flash - Equipment

Question - Info gathering resources

Dr. Irons - Contacts. My nuDCU version has Dr. Irons in an "Armor Wars" -like situation where his ex-employers took his electromagnet technology, perverted it into weaponry and, after the U.S. turned them down, they sold these weapons to terrorists. Irons wants to collect the technology, prevent them from making more and to help the victims of his technology (eventually becoming Steel).

Connor Hawke - Resources. I could see the nuDCU Connor Hawke using his Bat Bunker to treat the water and provide medicine to the sick (maybe someplace like Shanghai or India) while trying to stop local human trafficking.

Forget everything about his character post-OYL. So getting shot by a cloud, no forgetting how to shoot a bow, no Plastic Man healing factor... his characterization would be like during Morrison's run and the "Missing Year" story by Winick, where he's training on an island of assassins.

Zatara - Training. Zachary Zatara has a lot of potential as both a magician and a crimefighter. He doesn't plan to do this forever. He doesn't REALLY want to do it now. He wants to become the world's greatest stage magician, and who better to help him learn his family's legacy of escape artistry than Batman (himself a student of the ORIGINAL Zatara). Batman takes him on, mainly to instill within him the personal values that somehow were missed along the way. He agrees to teach Zatara, as long as he fully commits himself to the team.

Mon-El - Training/Protection (almost used the Supernova Micro and I tried using the armored Superman from Superman/Batman but I couldn't find it). Thanks to a crack in the Phantom Zone, he's a hero on a world FILLED with lead, a deadly element to him. Although his powers mirror Superman's (but on a smaller scale), he knows that Superman is one to block bullets, not avoid them. Batman, on the other hand, knows how to come out relatively unscathed. So Batman agrees to help him. Provide supplies. Help fund studies into the Phantom Zone (already making back his initial investments). And, while he's there, help him utilize his superpowers (pick apart a crime scene, etc.).

*I really wanted a full face mask for Mon-El. This one works, but I had also thought about the Supernova costume from 52 and the armored Superman from Superman/Batman. Thoughts?

I have 3 picks left to make and I am kind of stuck. I don't know who to pick. I have 2 picks that I really want to make but I know that at least one of them may be extremely questionable. Any suggestions?

I'm a little stuck. I want to add some ladies to the team but I don't know who. Would have added Kara Zor El instead of Mon-El, but she's been used recently...

Make the questionable choice! :)

You can "fix" it later if you want, I believe.

I am having a little difficulty hunting down the micro for my questionable pick. I will try to find it after I get off work but that will still leave me with one final pick. :-(

One by one, everyone who has ever been a member of the Justice Society of America begin to unexpectedly disappear. Not only are they disappearing but people are beginning to forget that they even existed! Realizing that a world without the JSA would spell disaster for the future, Booster Gold is forced to step into action. He begins recruiting a new team, led by Aquaman and featuring a group of heroes whose true legacies are only beginning to be written but will never be forgotten, they are the new:

The Justice Society of America

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Aquaman (Team Leader): Despite being a founding member of the Justice League and serving on several variations of the team, Aquaman is only now starting to gain the respect he deserves.

Starfire (Pre-Flashpoint): Having only recently returned to Earth, Koriand'r must find her place in the world once again. Being a former Teen Titan she hopes that by joining the Justice Society, she can inspire the next generation of heroes.

Max Mercury: Having only recently escaped the Speed Force, Max Mercury is also trying to find his way in the world but is astonished when he is asked to join the new Justice Society. He is used to being a mentor for other speedsters but now he will have to put those skills to being a mentor for his team.

Blue Beetle (Ted Kord): Ted Kord is in an interesting position...he's dead. At least, he used to be. He remembers being killed but when the previous members of the Justice Society began to disappear, he suddenly woke up. While his best friend couldn't be happier for Ted to be alive, Ted is more concerned with the ramifications of his return. He is working tirelessly to figure out what happened to the original Society but he can't help but wonder what will happen to him if they return.

Booster Gold (Pre-Flashpoint): In order to save the future, Booster Gold has to stop hiding in the shadows of time. By stepping up and recruiting a new Justice Society, Booster may be putting his mission in jeopardy...but what other choice does he have? He must fight alongside this generation of heroes if there will be a future for the next.

Shade: An odd choice to join the new Justice Society, Booster Gold actually sought out the Shade. His longevity and experiences prove invaluable to the team, as he provides knowledge of the original Justice Society, their villains, and a wealth of things strange and occult. Shade isn't necessarily interested in taking the plunge into full-blown heroism but he does take offense to the disappearance of the original Society, particularly the disappearance of Jay Garrick.

Oracle (Pre-Flashpoint): In order to have any hope of finding the "real" Justice Society, the new version turns to a person who will be able to keep them connected to everything that is happening in the world around them.

Dream of the Endless (Daniel Hall): When the previous members of the Justice Society begin disappearing, Daniel Hall is shocked to discover that not only has his father disappeared from the Dreaming but that his mother no longer remembers who either Hector or Daniel are! Daniel reasons that he was not erased from time due to his connection to the Endless but he has no way of knowing how long that will last. Once again entering the mortal world, Daniel joins the new Justice Society to search for his father.

Jade - Help from the World's Greatest Detective. Her brother has gone missing and she needs Batman's help to find him.

Manhunter - Permission. Her case is a little different. If she joins his team (and stops killing), Batman will allow her to continue operating in his city (along with serving as the new D.A). He can also help her access equipment.

It'll be interesting watching them gel as a team and realizing that they can depend on each other for the same needs Batman was meeting. Perhaps all part of his plan...?
