This is a thread where I can post links I find to socially awkward adults who make me hate everyone.

And the 3 pages of the DC Nation/Young Justice thread that debate the undercover strategic merits of Artemis vs Batgirl vs Miss Martian

If I met a man who liked that show I'd have to assume he will shortly be on the sex offender list. Bronies? Are you fucking kidding me?

Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

And OotS made over a million, too. Not bad for a geek web comic.

My question is: how many people actually follow through and pay up?

I think its set up so it automatically deducts from a paypal or credit card type deal if the project is funded.

The creepiest fans I ever encountered attended an in-store signing we had at Tower Records in London with a boyband called Westlife. We were sure that screaming teens would be the biggest issue ,but the weren't: the real problem were middle-aged women who were determined to persuade us to deliver detailed, pornographic letters and messages to the boys in the band detailing all the nasty things these creatures wanted to do to them. They were pretty worrying.

 that chick?

How classy of you.

She's Amanda fucking Palmer and she's more than Neil Gaiman's wife, she's an extremely talented musician who just a few years ago now has broken free of her label and is free to do her on music by herself, which the kickstarter is proof of there being people out there interested in it.

Also she's the co-creator and 1 of the musicians behind Evelyn Evelyn and The Dresden Dolls.

Just because you don't know her doesn't mean you make a slightly misogynistic comment going "that chick" just say Amanda Palmer or something.
