The mastermind behind the Court Of Owls is set to be revealed at the end of the arc coming up and I want to throw some guesses who that might be. Here are my list of suspects of this snorefest of a Batman story arc I have lined up:

Ra's Al Ghul

-The most likely suspect as running clan-destine secret societies is his sticht. Plus given the fact that Ra's has been around for centuries, it would be likely that he helped set up the Court Of Owls to be a branch of his League Of Assassins

Talia Al Ghul:

-This guess is mostly based on how hellbent Morrisson is on making her into an evil psycho bitch in his Batman Inc run. The likelihood of it being her is slim overall but you never know.

Simon Hurt:

-No one has seen him since the dumbass reboot so this would be a good way to return him by revealing he had a hand in the Court Of Owls after the Black Glove debacle

Thomas Elliot:

-Another villain not seen since the New 52 that could be a good suspect for the Court Of Owls mystery leader. The Court Of Owls are experts at studying their enemies just like Elliot is so this guess might not be far off.

Norman Osborn:

-Ok, I am just joking with this one but I only included him because of how many things get pinned on him during the spider-book. It would be funny if DC found a way to use Norman and blame another mess on him for good laughs.

Owlman:

-Another villain not seen during the New 52 that would be a good suspect considering how similar his motiff is to the organization. Owlman being the head of the Court Of Owls would be golden from where I stand.

Won't be Talia, since she's behind Leviathan in Batman Inc

I think Talia being the real mastermind in Batman Inc. is a red herring, actually. I think there's someone behind her pulling her strings.

Like I said, it won't likely be her but I had to throw out her name as a suspect.

Just like whoever is in charge of the Court Of Owls will most likely have another mastermind behind that person.

I don't think its anybody you've mentioned. Ra's and Talia are Morrison's playthings. And no one else on your list matters.

I'd excuse the Ghul clan given Morrison is using them. Tommy Elliot seems likely, but I dunno the plan is too good for him. The Waynes are more victims to the Court than leaders as shown with poor Alan's death and who knows what else. Snyder said no Owl-Man. HOWEVER, Snyder has already hinted at the fact the Kane Family were part of it (as shown with Cameron in Gates of Gotham).

Question is.. which Kane? I highly doubt Kate or Kathy since one has an ongoing and well Morrison has been playing with the former in Batman Inc season one. I highly doubt Snyder would pick that up. The name Powers is mentioned in the preview an obvious homage to Derek Powers from Batman Beyond. I highly doubt Snyder would go fully into bringing Derek in and the name was just that. To hint at the future.

So that leaves the Kanes again and who amongst their clan is it. And this is me only using Black Mirror, Gates of Gotham, word of Snyder, and various previews as reference. There is a few Batman villains who could still be behind this not used and it make perfect sense though.

Need I say the name.. Hugo Strange?

Going through Draco's choices, a non anti-matter earth Owlman makes the most sense as a Court of Owls without an Owlman seems wasted.

Question is, do they have the balls to make this one Thomas Wayne or not?

Do we know that Lincoln March is definitely dead? Because if not he would be my primary suspect. Hell, he could even BE Thomas Wayne jr - after all, he and Bruce look nearly identical.
