Comic Book Men is casting for Season 2!

This morning, Gotham Casting began a borderline spam campaign on the Facebook pages of every vaguely comic book related website or group asking people to sign up for the second season of Comic Book Men. The Outhouse is more than happy to return the favor for the powers that be gracing us with their link to a low-resolution scan of a flier that looks like it's promoting a meeting of Virgins Anonymous.

So, if you're interested in being mocked in front of the nation and helping to perpetuate the stereotypes that caused jocks to give you swirlies in high school, please contact comicbookmen@gothamcasting.com. They want you to buy and sell comic book related items to a bunch of Kevin Smith flunkies that get paid to be absolute assholes that can't be bothered to shower for weeks on end. If this appeals to you at all, contact comicbookmen@gothamcasting.com. Remember, the stupider and weirder you are, the more likely they will want you on their show so they can humiliate you and worsen any fears of socializing that you already have. On the plus side, you'll be on AMC and will help Kevin Smith buy another XXXXL hockey jersey, so it's not all bad.

We look forward to seeing at least two Outhousers on the program this fall.

Just make sure whatever you want to bring them is slabbed.

Because somehow everyone found out they needed to CGC their books before they could sell them anywhere.

I collect pedigree books and find the CGC helps in that I know what pedigree the book comes from... I don't have to rely on someone's word with it.

My insurance agent told me that my books were all covered in my homeowners policy, as long as I kept a good record and photographed most of the more expensive books.

Now saying that, he wasn't sure that they would be able to cover the actual value vs the replacement value due to the fluctuation in the market.
