Uh, ok. I wasn't trying to "shit on Moore". It's just strange to realize he worked on WildCATS. Y'know, because these days he likes to "shit on" superhero diven books (rightly or wrongly). WildCATS is possibly the perfect example of what I imagine he hates about the industry.

And yes, I own those Supreme issues...the only time that character was any good, IMO. The man deserved the Eisner given what else was coming out at the time.

oh sorry i wasnt accusing you of shitting on moore, i was just commenting in general and quoted your paragraph.

If people actually listened to the interviews with Moore, he's quite candid about his time in the trenches. His point that DC or Marvel keep churning over the same fallow soil is kind of obviously reinforced by a 2012 WildCATs relaunch by Jim Lee, I think.

I get that point, and at the same time don't. Do DC/Marvel rehash old characters? Sure. Are there no new ideas in there? I think that's an arguable point. "Fallow soil"? That just sounds overly pretentious.
So what's the idea here? 1-5 years of current characters and then a complete wash to make room for more? That's ludicrous on its face. Spider-Man isnt Shakespere. No one expects it to be.
2012 relaunch of WildCATs with Jim Lee involved? It wouldn't last longer than 6-8 issues anyway, so who cares?
