Does Captain America have no shame?
As if trying to exterminate the mutant race isn't bad enough, Marvel released a teaser revealing that Captain America might be the villain in its mysterious ____________ War event, which will probably be written by Dan Slott and run in
Amazing Spider-Man. Several fans believe this to be the Reckoning War, a long hinted at arc planned by Slott many years ago, while others believe the teasers to relate to the upcoming Ultron War arc written by Brian Bendis. However, we here at the Outhouse have another idea.
The image shows Captain America's shield embedded in the ground with blood smeared down its front, obviously fresh. Our best guess is that Captain America, not content with his dirty and underhanded victory against the X-Men, has turned his eyes to the city of Boston, long seen as a villain by many in New York. Obviously, this image comes just after Captain America savagely beats down Aunt May, a resident of the city, in an act that many will defend since Bostonians don't have souls.
Of course, Spider-Man will enter into the fray, be decried as a villain, and have many comic book fans note that his descent into villainy has been coming for over fifty years and point out poorly written filler arcs as justification for their blind hatred of the character.
When asked for a comment about the Boston War,
Amazing Spider-Man writer Dan Slott gave us a funny look, obviously meaning that our analysis is spot on.
