Toei Animation announced on Monday that an all-new television anime special, One Piece Episode of Nami: Kōkaishi no Namida to Nakama no Kizuna (One Piece Episode of Nami: Tears of a Navigator and the Bonds of Friends), will air on Saturday, August 25 at 9:00 p.m. (The One Piece television anime series normally airs on Sunday mornings.)
The story segment about Nami's home village, which figures heavily in the One Piece television anime's ongoing Fishman Island arc, is recreated with all-new animation. Nami steals the Merry Go (Going Merry) pirate ship from Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of her shipmates and seemingly abandons them. Luffy and the others give chase and eventually track Nami to Cocoyasi Village (Coco Village).
Japanese publisher Kadokawa Shoten revealed in advertising that an anime adaptation of Ryō Ikehata's Aru Zombie Shōjo no Sainan (The Misfortune of a Certain Zombie Girl) light novels series has been green-lit. The story revolves around a beautiful girl named Euphrosyne (Yūfurojiinu) who is regretfully a zombie. Yūfurojiinu wakes up in an underground archive of a university, where a maid named Aruma tells her, "Madam, kill the students and retrieve the 'Secret Stone.'"
Most of the latest season is wrapping up with final episodes.
Final rankings of those, so far, -
Kore wa Zombie desu ka of the Dead ***/*** - Over the top silly fun with some great characters. Tasogare Otome x Amnesia (Dusk Maiden of Amnesia) ***/*** - Just watched it. Very nicely done over all and well animated. Hiiro no Kakera **/*** - Boring in the end. Okay time killer. Medaka Box */*** - Silly stupid show, but not bad for fluff. This show could go Dragonball with the main character's modes.
Now off to watch Aquarion EVOL's final episode.
