Spike TV Confirms: Jim Lee Solely to Blame for DCnU

Jim Lee has been nominated for Spike TV's All Access Game Changer Award for his work on the DCnU, showing disgruntled readers exactly where to place the blame.

DC Comics put out a press release announcing that Jim Lee was nominated for the award because he "rebooted and revitalized the DC Universe with The New 52." For the past ten months, fans have been wondering who to hate for destroying their beloved DC Universe. Mustache-twirling supervillain Dan Didio (a likely candidate)? The inept corporate stooges at Warner Bros.? Superstar artist Rob Liefeld, currently writing and drawing 37 of the 52 DCnU books?

Well, the matter is settled. It's Jim Lee's fault. That bastard!

The awards will take place on July 13 at San Diego Comic Con. Go vote for him here.

I'll still blame Didio out of tradition.

That and if Jim Lee pays me one million dollars and gives me a page/pin-up of Captain Canuck.... and one of the Wonder Women.. Power Girl... Huntress... yeah may make me forget it's his fault.

The Wonder Woman is okay, I think. The Superman would have been fine if they kept the boots looking like the classic Superman boots AND if other artists would draw as if it were not armor.

I hate to blame Jim Lee because he actually has some talent. DiDio on the other hand has proven to be a bad writer and Liefeld is a bad artist so it seems easier to blame them. :lol:

Wonder Woman is a good look. His Earth Two Superman was a much, much better update than what we are getting in Action, Superman, etc...

The fact that Lee can't wrap his head around the fact that the only reason Supes costume works is the red shorts proves that he shouldn't be allowed to make either editorial or corporate decisions.

Liefeld sucks at drawing AND writing.
