I agree. DnA were the draw for me. Even then, I waited a few days to read it. My mistake...it's very accessible and drew me right in to the story.

Yeah, the covers are pretty meh, honestly. Walker's art isn't bad, though.

I don't know if I can buy the next issues, though, DCBS only gives you 30 or 35% off for Boom titles.

So. Thought I forgot all about this little thread, did you?

Dragavon, I will smite the shit out of you, that's what I'll do! :smt013 :smt013 :-D

Everybody else: Keep reading this thing. We'll report back here each month and talk out each issue -- I think this book will be really good. I'm drinking the Kool-Aid already, because with no continuity, they can truly go anywhere they want with it.

As for the first issue: I really liked Thinkwell. I'm a little tech-stupid so I'm going to have to read it again, but I really enjoyed following along and trying to interpret his powers.

I have really high hopes for this book, and I really enjoyed the first issue. If you're on the fence, come on down! Join us! Drop a crappy book you're reading for a few months and let's get in on the ground floor of something different, produced by creators who have track records of success in this industry.

Now is the time, people! Hypernaturals No. 1 -- read it! Let's go! :-D

I may have to go a month late on this from here out. You know my issues with the price point, and Boom drops prices by $2 a month later on Comixology.

Nope. I read the first issue. While I normally like DnA, this is the first time I felt dissatisfied with the product.

So try and smite me all you dare. My spider-senses prevent me from being smited. :smt110
