No defense of the Avengers. Neither side has been glowing during this event. But you said the Avengers started this - there would be nothing to start, if not for Cyclops' messianic vision for Hope bringing the mutant race back (which, by the way.. no longer important for Scott?) That was the catalyst for everything.

If Cyke was a reasonable and logical person from the get-go, he could've teamed up with the Avengers against the Phoenix, instead of fighting them. Because odds are that's what's going to happen by the end of this anyway.

True, but the Avengers didn't show up looking to collaborate. They came with no notice, no reaching out and no plan other than take charge and Cap to put on his 'Son, I am disapoint' face.

You don't really get to be treated with kid gloves when you take it upon yourself to start making decisions that could put the fate of the entire planet in jeopardy.

Furthermore, there's plenty of evidence to show that Cyclops would have ZERO intentions of collaborating or helping Cap out in any way, or any reasonable discussion. This is the same guy who only months prior flat out lied to Cap's face, when Cap was looking for Quentin Quire during Schism, and Quire was seeking asylum on Utopia.

this was BEFORE quire was taken to the school.. Quire commited an act of terrorism at the UN, Captain America came to arrest him, and Cyclops told him he had no clue where he was, even though Cyclops knew EXACTLY where he was. He point blank lied to Captain America. The ONLY reason Quire is at the school is Wolverine didn't trust Cyclops having him in his back pocket.

not just that, but lets let a cosmic entity who's NEVER been shown to do anything like what Cyclops imagines it to be, instead of the ONE person on the planet would could change everything she did and bring back mutants.

So Cap is now fine that Wolverine has Quire at his school, because he's got Wolverine on a leash.

Really enjoyed the scene with Colossus and Cytorrak too. Hopefully he is freed of this Juggernaut shit by the time the story's over.

I hope to god Cytorrak goes back to Cain Marko after this as I wasn't feeling Jugger-lossus at all. As for Scott, I fully agree as no matter how much Fraction writes him as some asshole Magneto variant, he still has the best intentions deep down.
