No prob, you should watch more!
Lots of Japanese anime is over the top. In humor, funny sex situtation (usually nothing more than a guy touching a girls boobs by mistake or falling in her lap, etc), action, violence. Gin Tama falls into that type. Just crazy.
Herald wrote: Agreed. The show might get a little risque to get a laugh, but you're not ever going to see the characters go too far into that.
Oh it's effin hilarious! I was watching #67 with the wind chick and the hemorrhoid. I about peed my pants when she cuddled up to his ass! Definitely my kind of weird!

~Alima~ wrote:It's the first chick. I saw her personality profile Ayame has a playful attitude, but gets serious when it comes to her work. She also seems to enjoy bondage and S&M.Although Gintoki is indifferent to her affections and even treats her badly most times (e.g throwing things at her whenever he senses her stalker presence), her 'M' or masochistic personality only makes her enjoy the punishment, and his 'cruelty' only serves to encourage her. Despite the 'stalker' label, she feels insulted to be compared to Kondou Isao and his stalking of Shimura Tae. At multiple occasions, she has shown that her mind is very sex-oriented, trying to get Gintoki to join her S&M games, or being aroused by a lack of public decency.
God I hate when he's right.
First, I'd say your first judgement was the right one. You viewed it and judged it. These are just archtypes in anime and manga. They just don't dress them down more as they do here in North America. Think about it while watching mainstream tv here.
You also made me think of this, from Inu-Boku SS. He constantly pointed out... well watch the silly vid. "You're an "S"!!"

There are tons of anime out there for you then.
Check out Ben-To if you can. It's one of my favs. Think of those ready made meals at grocery stores, Fight Club, and some crazy humor.
I think SD and Herald will agree with me, that Kore was Zombie Desuku is also one for you too.

You should watch it all to get it all. Really, it and a lot of other anime have jokes that are built in based on the characters and their relationships. It just kept building on all the jokes and kept going. Same with Ben-To. Binbou-gami ga looks like it could be going there.
