James Robinson Canned after One Issue of He-Man

James Robinson Canned after One Issue of He-Man

Shortest stay on a comic ever?

DC Comics announced that it had fired James Robinson after one issue of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.  It's theorized (by us) that Geoff Johns was personally involved with the firing after learning that Sir Laser Lot, a character conceived by Johns when he was six years old that was being introduced in the comic, would not be having a major role in the series.

Robinson, according to this wildly speculative theory, was reluctant to have Sir Laser Lot marry She-Ra after a whirlwind romance and was allegedly upset that the chracter resembled Johns when he had his armor off.

Robinson is being replaced by Keith Giffen, who has promised to write whatever Johns wants as long as he sees a paycheck from it.

This does not bode well for Vertigo.

Jude really needs to come up with a header or something so people know this is parody. Just to CYA legally, y'know.

You mean written by ThanosCopter? I think that is a good indication it is a parody.

The rest is (admittedly sarcastic) speculation, which is clearly stated twice in the article.

If people can't use their reading skills, that's not our problem.

I'd say this part counts as either parody or satire, or just plain being wrong.

Robinson, according to this wildly speculative theory, was reluctant to have Sir Laser Lot marry She-Ra after a whirlwind romance and was allegedly upset that the chracter resembled Johns when he had his armor off.

It certainly counts as a wildly speculative theory we're throwing out. Whether it has any merit has nothing to do with its legality.
