SDCC: Singer's Battlestar Galactica Movie and BSG: Blood and Chrome TV Series Back on Track?

SDCC: Singer's Battlestar Galactica Movie and BSG: Blood and Chrome TV Series Back on Track?Good news for BSG fans coming out of the BSG: So Say We All panel at San Diego Comic Con today!

Battlestar Galactica may soon be giving up its long-running competition with LOST for television series with the least satisfying ending, as statements made at the BSG panel today seem to indicate that Blood and Chrome is still being considered as a new series on SyFy, and Bryan Singer's movie is back on track. Syfy had supposedly killed the series a few months ago, and the movie project has been in limbo since screenwriter John Orloff was hired last October. If Richard Hatch and Jane Espensen are to believed, however, both projects are still happening, leading fans of the show to believe that perhaps there is a God after all... and really, wasn't that the message the show's finale wanted us to understand in the first place?

Cool. BSG was awesome (and I thought the ending was cool, although a bit pretentious)

Right on, the reinvented BSG was epic. The only thing I didn't like was the end, it was too dark and sad for me. Yes the end brought a tear to my eyes, though it was pretentious as covalesky said. Throughout the series the writers did a perfect job putting the lives of the crew together, building them up, taring them down, just to build them up again. That relation with everyday life is spot on, I mean we live our lives screwing up and somehow we survive, I should be dead or locked up after all the stupid, reckless crap I've done, yet I'm still alive and free. Just like on BSG, I question that, I wonder is there some divine power cheering me on, getting me out of trouble, saving my life, giving me opportunities I don't deserve, or am I just one heck of a luck SOB, on my own, living til I dead?

Isn't this another prequel, set in between Caprica and Battlestar? It won't make that awful BSG ending any better.

Hey Singer, why do drop BSG in favor of doing that Logan's Run remake you've been talking about doing for the past fucking decade?
However, Liefeld is an enigma wrapped in a pouch-filled, muscular, footless conundrum.

If you like BSG, and 'Helo' (at least a little bit) than check this out. It's another project like Blood and Chrome trying to get on it's feet.http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/535480473/tartarus-a-scifi-film-starring-tahmoh-penikett

Why remake Logan's Run? The original is awesome!

I'd rather see a new Logan's Run, that hews closer to the source (where you die at 21) than a movie version of the 70's BSG.
