Huh. So for the first time I'm a bit stumped as to what this arc was building to. This issue ends ... abruptly. And Kate does not come out looking well to Sawyer or Chase.

Maybe it will all come together and make more sense when Wonder Woman guest-stars :smt017

I think the sort of odd dreamlike / semi - hallucinatory tone is why I keep reading this book...
...They Don't think it be like it is, but it do.

Pere Perez on art? Who the hell is Pere Perez?

Remember, DC had JH Williams on this book, and removed him in favour of some girl, and Pere Perez

I don't think that DC "removed" Williams. He wanted to focus more on the writing end, I believe. Yes, Amy Reeder left after 2 issues. Personally I didn't think her style was a good fit for this title. Others liked her, though.

They use alternating artists (ex: Pere Perez and Trevor McCarthy) to keep the book on schedule as the artistic style is somewhat demanding. Williams will return as Artist for issue #s 12, 0, and 13. :smt026

Apparantly "left" is a pretty weak word to use in this scenario.
