Now my reaction to the propaganda from our feds as usual...
Yeah, it's more than a bit of propaganda. Joe Shuster said in an interview for the Toronto Star in the 80s that the city of Metropolis was originally based on Toronto, but that's as close as the connection goes.

I live in Solon, Ohio just outside Cleveland and I feel sorry for this guy spending $7,000 of his own money toward trying to make this happen here. I guess he never heard of kickstarter.

Why would it be any better? What is a hall of fame, anyway? There are already a number of quality cartoon art museums around the country that do important archiving and preservation work, this sounds like a plan to sell $20 hamburgers to idiots.
