In the far future, humanity has doomed planet earth to rot and decay, covering her surface with garbage. Now, ancient spirits called the Colossals rise from the debris and attack the remaining survivors, forcing the human race to the brink of extinction. One warrior woman, Maya, sets out to find the last source of pure water to save the world before the monsters bring it all to an end.

A digital copy of the comic can be found here. (It's 50 cents cheaper than the print edition and it'll drop in price in a month, fyi).

The site's general slowness had been caused by the upswing in traffic, so we upgraded to a "better" server. However, we're sharing the new server with a site with some out of control nodes (or something like that) which is eating up all the processing speed. The server folks are in the process of stopping that so hopefully we'll get a more permanent solution soon.

And yes, this thing is frustrating as hell.

After looking over this comic a few times, I've come to the conclusion that Kurtis J. Wiebe's script is empty. Not in the sense that he lacks creativity or the ability to put out a cohesive plot, but his writing leaves nothing for the mind to grasp onto and think about after the story is over. Riley Rossmo and Owen Gieni's art is a different story. The two work together well and their art is reminiscent of European sci-fi comics, while maintaining their own unique artistic flair.
