He pretty much apologized on behalf of the press for the incident where Romney's press guy cussed out reporters in Poland. Then went on to downplay Mitt doing more damage to the "special relationship" with the UK than Obama ever could. (or Dubya, for that matter).

Seriously, he's become a tool for the conservatives. He'll keep the Justice Dept. "honest" over Fast & Furious, but ignores the Republicans trying to suppress voter's rights in Florida, South Carolina, etc. Or did anything serious about the Wisconsin recall effort. I don't ever recall him interviewing one teacher or other Wis. state worker being affected by Walker's insanity. Nor does he mention the GOP's umpteen anti-abortion votes and zero jobs bills in the House.

Andy's a total fraud. He goes around acting like a self-righteous defender of the weak tough-guy , but hides the fact that he's really a Vanderbilt and part of the 1%.

No wonder Ed Shultz whips his @$$ most of the time. Heck, Michael Eric Dyson beat Andy's @$$ Monday subbing for Big Eddie.

Nope and I'm older than GOSD.

I really do blame the media for all their bias and propaganda bullshit for everything wrong these days. People have been trained for decades now to not to bother to think on a subject, but to go running to their favorite media outlet, while getting hammered with propaganda from the entertainment media, to get an opinion to make their own.

I do remember when teachers would tell me and the other kids to listen and to think for ourselves as no one has a monopoly on being correct. That came from ones that leaned right and ones whom leaned left. They still recognized that an opinion is just that, an opinion, not a fact. Sadly, more and more teachers did not have that in them, just propaganda and vitriol.

Good for Cooper. They should apologize. They did that at a war dead shrine. The press is so eager to get Romney and re-elect Obama that they're becoming a parody.

I mean when they rake Ann Romney through the coals for wearing a $700 silk shirt and thus being "out of touch", while praising Michelle Obama for wearing a stylish $7000 jacket...

As for Romney's "gaffes", what exactly were they? What he said about the Olympics was exactly what the same papers that are castigating him said before. And what I saw sundry Londoners say on TV interviews before the games. Obviously not all of them feel that way, but just as obviously some do, so Romney's only apparent sin there was to be a Republican saying what his critics said themselves.

As for Israel, so what? Who cares if a few terrorists are upset? He said the truth. Hamas for example takes Gaza's only source of income---foreign aid, and steals it to use it for arms smuggling and financing its terror attacks against Israel, instead of building a viable economy. Hell, the very first thing the Palestinians did when they were given Gaza was to tear down productive and profitable greenhouses that were growing crops, because they were guilt by Jews. Sounds like a culture problem to me, choices they as a culture made that aren't helping them.

Look next door to the Palestinian Authority and the West Bank. While it isn't a first world place by any means, their economy has seen something of a boom in recent years. Perhaps not coincidentally they've been less adamant about stealing their share of the aid money and have instead focused a bit more on actually building an economy.

Poland? His aid got pissed finally at the press for their disrespect and obvious bias. So what? His comments on Russia? Well, anyone who thinks Russia is our friend is living in a dream world. It's a kleptocracy run by ex KGB thugs who still think that way. And they've been making provocative moves against us and Western Europe for years. Anyone who thinks that keeping quiet about it, or appeasing them is probably named Neville Chamberlain, and is looking for peace in our time.

His show's at the gym when I go there, so that's not quite an option. And the guys that run the place are usually gone when I get there, so I can't ask them to switch the channels (which the way they've got it set up is a pain in the @$$ to do anyway).

I agree with you about Russia. They ain't our friends. And they are one of the biggest threats to global security. (If you don't believe me, ask the Republic of Georgia, which Russia invaded and trashed a few years back).
