Only seen the pilot so far, but the acting is pretty meh.

Btw, what in the hell is Pacey's name in the show? I feel like I should know but I can't seem to remember.

I like his character. I think he works well here.

I knew there was something on that I was supposed to watch tonight. :x

Is it worth downloading or should I just skip it?

The fact that I forgot about Fringe completely after the premiere isn't a good sign for my long term interest in the series.

I liked it. It's worth taking a peak at.

Lets just say this show made me say "WHAT THE FUCK?" more times then anything else I've seen in awhile. I'm loving this show so far. I've been completely wrong on Fringe, I just assumed it was gonna be an X-files rip (which I hated). This show is fantastic

I watched the Sunday's re-airing of the first episode and this week's episode last night. I liked it and have total faith in any JJ Abrams TV project (it keeps him away from Superman).

Did any catch the Altered States reference in the first episode? The whole LSD in a sensory deprivation tank concept was explored in the movie. Blair Brown played the female lead in the movie and also plays the Massive Dynamics role in Fringe.

I love JJ Abrams.. but I'm so sick and tired of hearing people call him this big creative genius.

Alias grew mostly out of Alex Kurtman, Roberto Orci, and John Eisendrath's minds.

He had very little to do with LOST beyond the very initial planning. Just about everything we see and know about the show today is from the mind of showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.

I don't know as much about Fringe, but I'd be willing to be that it's more Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman than it is Abrams.

It's a stupid thing to be annoyed about, but it gets on my nerves sometimes. JJ Abrams is given far too much credit for his TV work.

JJ Abrams formula is this - pot + Whiskey + Tv Land Reruns = hit shows.

Lost = Gilligans Island
Alias = Secret Agent & Mission Impossible
Fringe = X-files

:D

I haven't watched the second episodes yet, but the first one seemed like a cool premise with bad writing (the main character is called honey and sweetheart like four times each) and bad acting (the main girl is horrible). If the second one doesn't pick up in those departments this is going to be one we skip, despite the cool ideas and overall story. It seems like it could get better, but right now it seems a little off.
