It appeals to both me and my wife who are long time X-Men and comicbook fans. It also keeps my 2 year old sons attention long enough that he actually watches most of it with us. My sister in law who is mainly a anime/manga fan even said she enjoyed the first 3 episodes. I hope that Marvel and Nicktoons don't fuck this up because this is a show that could run for at least 5 seasons if not more.

I have yet to watch the third episode but the ending of the second had me wanting to see more immediately. I think it's quality work.

I think it is some of the best of all of Marvels animated ventures. They appeal to a huge base of X-Men fans from old to new to diehard to the casual. I love seeing Emma in the mix and the fact that they did not go right to Magneto as the main villain, thats been done way to many times now. I am excited for episode 5 because thats when Gambit will make his first appearance on the series.

It is possible that he can be introduced and killed off in the same episode?

Definitely a fan. I thought he was so cool when he first showed up. Unfortunately they paired him with Rogue and ruined him.

Agreed. Pairing the two at first was a good idea but then that pairing became what defined them both and that was bad.
