He's not dead, he's still alive and kicking in Secret Invasion #6, he just has a hole in his face.

4. Iron Man (248 points - 4 first place votes)

I figured the final 3 woulda been exactly how you put it, but nope. You all completely failed. Perhaps it was the way Marvel wrote him lately that made people dislike him so much, I dunno. But Tony here, even after his big budget movie, he didn't even make the Top 3.

I wonder, if I do this next year or whatever, if he will be in the same slot.

Ah, I wasn't reading comics during dissassembled and don't really like most of the Avengers other than Tony and Thor so, I don't really read them much. What happened?

Good friggin guess.

3. Hawkeye (249 - 3 first place votes)

Really? REALLY? Number 3? Really? God, you people. So, what can we say bout this Lavender Shaftmaster that hasn't been said already? I think my sig sums it up nicely. And to top it off, 3 of you thought it was good enough to be first place. What are you on crack?!?!? I have your names, you are OFF my Xmas card list.

2. Thor (283 points - 5 first place votes)

Image

The God of Thunder. He woulda been my pick for number 2, just behind Vision. But hey, I'll settle for him being behind the person in the first slot (I wonder who that is...hmmmm). So, Goldilocks here is back from the dead, thank goodness. Curious to see what is going to happen post S.I. Is he going to join the Avengers, still be a slowly character?? One of my fav. Thor moments, was in Ultron Unleashed. "We need to have words with Thee"

Wickedawesome.

1. Captain America (359 points - 25 frickin first place votes)

Image

Was there any doubts? Really? I think the difference between an Avengers one and a Justlce League one, the first place slot would be a surprize. This one, I really didn't think their would be, and I was correct. Mind you, the rest of the final 3 shocked the hell outta me (Damn you Hawkeye), but yeah, here a go. I really really hope he comes back at some point, but part of me doesn't. I dunno. Well, congrats Steve, in the eyes of many you are the best, fav, most awesome, or whatever you want this list to represent Avenger ever.

Well done.

Well folks, there is your Top 10. and your Top 40.

I am pretty sure I amgoing to do a Justice League one next. I wonder if the first place vote is going to be as obvious as this one.
