Hey look! It's a thread.

I'll just say that this is the third tire I've had on my passenger side front to go flat this week and it's only wednesday.

How am I going to get any drawing done when all my free time is spent bleeding money into my car?
 :x  :(

That's enough smileys for now.

Oh, breaks out 4 times a month totally trumps 3 flats tires in three days. I'd rather a flat that bad breaks.

But I also have a starter problem. I was actually planning to bring it in right around now to get that fixed, but the flat kept me from leaving. I got the car started after three tries and then noticed the flat. I almost cried.

So, NOW we temp solved the flat tire situation only to not be able to get the car started. I would have probably freaked out more if my uncle hadn't been around.

The new plan is to sleep and figure it out tomorrow. I imagine that tomorrow will include a tow truck and more money than I can really afford to lose being lost in a futile attempt to keep my damn car running for a while longer. I spent $450 last week on some maintenance and a new radiator. This week has been tires and a starter. I wonder what next week'll be...

Sorry to hear that, Super. Nothing hurts more than a car working seemingly working against you. Hope it starts getting better.

yeah, but my car was crap, bad breaks gave out 2 times, once they went out with the steering mid turn, luckly i was going like 5 miles an hour on a street with no traffic, so i was fine, car was scrapped after that one...

In my experience, when a car starts to go like that, you're better off getting rid of it if at all possible. Things will randomly go wrong and before you know it, you'll have spent more money fixing it than you would have on a new car. One things like the radiator start to go, its indicative of a bigger problem that the mechanics will never diagnose because they'd rather keep fixing your car for 500 dollars than figure out what's really wrong. If it is at all possible, get out now and get a new car.

yeah, we had put about $400 into it to try and fix it, but after the breaks and steering giving out i once i wouldn't drive it again...

That's a pretty strange problem. Sounds like you either need to replace the rim, or someone's slashing your tires. Piss anyone off recently?

Either way, I'm sorry to hear it. That well and truly sucks.

Apparently, it's a starter issue.

That and another tire and a tow will come to around $250, so I'm not too stressed out.

Hopefully this is my last vehicle problem for the week.

Dear lord, I AM that nervous smiley right now!
