Seriously? Jude and I get banned, My gf is pissing me off, I hardly talked to anyone at work, except the milf-tastic cashier, even talking to my mom on the phone, I was grumpy.

I think everyone needs to take some time off and relax right now.

Jude, the problem is you come across as one of Rob's biggest supporters, always defending him on the 'Rama and bashing those who bash him. Then you took a big part by desiging the trophy in a thread that was meant to bash Rob even more by comparing his work to the worst of what's on the shelves today.

Even though you were joking I can see why Rob would be pissed. Kinda like the knife in the back thing even though your intentions weren't spiteful or petty, but you still went out of your way to make fun of the man you defend the hardest.

Scott, I get what you said on his messageboards, maybe he just took it the wrong way.

I understand his apprehension, I just wish he would give me the benefit of the doubt when I say that I didn't think of it that way when I did it. I just thought it was funny, if there was going to be an award called the Robbies, for the award to be a statue of the infamous cap picture. I understand how he can view it as contributing to the bashing, but that was certainly not my intention, especially if you consider everything I have said about Rob previously and everything I continues to say afterwards before realizing he was ignoring me and checking his board to see he had been offended. If I thought it was going to insult him, I wouldn't have posted it, plain and simple, and being as I have done nothing but defend him, am still not saying bad things about him even though he's pissed at me, and went out of my way to apologize in a pm, in a thread on his board, and on newsarama, explaining that I did not mean it the way he took it, I think he should just accept that it was a misunderstanding. Instead, he's obviously still bothered by it, saying I'm on thin ice instead of just accepting my apology, and that bothers me, because now I feel bad, because I obviously did something unintentionally that offended him, and I don't know what to do to make it right. Which is why I'm taking a short break from his board for the rest of the night, and I'm no longer posting in Liefeld threads on newsarama. If you feel like it Cham, let him know that have self-banned myself from all future Liefeld threads on newsarama, and that I really feel bad about the whole thing. Otherwise, I will let him know in a post when I come back tomorrow.

You were clearly joking, but remember, Rob's had to defend himself for 20 yrs so he reacts to things differently than us.

BTW, we ALL get banned eventually...

Like I said, I understand his viewpoint, I've said it plenty of times, he gets unnecessary shit on the internet, and so is justified in being defensive. Buuuuuuut he could give me the benefit of the doubt here. Time will show, I am not a Rob Liefeld basher. Even if he never speaks to me again, I'll still buy his comics, but I will disappointed that he allowed one misconstrued comment to change his opinion of me. Like I said, it makes me feel bad about the whole thing.
