Comments suggestions on the Lettering are SUPER DUPER IDIOTICALLY WELCOME! I just dont wanna be doing the other 23 pages and then saying" hm. there's something bad about those word baloons."

I would either use a font that has more space between letters, or adjust the space with the font you have now so its a little easier to read.

Agree with Godfather. Use a font that's easier to read. I'm liking the pages!

Good thing I asked people. I would've totally bagged on my balloons and not even have changed the font, but I guess it's the font that ruins it.

BTW It's just Comic Sans reduced 50% width wise.

Hehe.

>>JOn, well it's going a long fine. 4 page chapters are something I'm trying and succeding. Honestly after this comic story I wanna work on something a lighter, this story is almost too heavy, like my first comic, but I'm trying something new so I guess there's that. I'll try to submit my four pager, but honestly I dont think I'll get past the first draft of my script.

And I just want to point out that this is all Digitally inked. There I said It, I just like saying it. DIGITAL, and INK. Makes me happy. :)

Illustrator is definitely the way to go. I was lettering in Photoshop until very recently, and Illustrator is infinitely better. The style you're doing on your balloons, where the directional thingie overlaps the bubble itself, are you doing that on purpose? It's an interesting effect, but on a couple balloons it's inconsistent, and on some balloons that are connected (Like in panel 1 (...talking to yourself), the stroke is not cut out where the balloons meet.

I'm not saying it's bad if it's a stylistic choice, but if it's a matter of not knowing how to fix it in illustrator, select the bubbles and the directional thingies and use the Shapes buttons in the Pathfinder palette. They can combine several shapes into one, and automatically cut out the overlaps. I just figured this out myself after switching to illustrator.

Also, consider increasing the space between the lines of text, as they're a little close together. This is all meant as constructive criticism, as I love the page.

No, I hate you, I didn't want you to impart any such helpful tips even though I desperately needed to merge them together and was randomly trying bashing keys in vain...

By the way, the Bludstrip is SoooOOo kicking ass. Maybe you guys should host it here as well http://www.webcomicsnation.com/index.php

I think your letter spacing still needs a little work. I know it's tough because you like to pack in a ton of dialogue. I'm sure you'll work it out.

And you better start working on a 6 page story for us, or you're sleeping outside when you get here!
