Credit Latino Review for this:

Latino Review reports that Brendan Fraser has filmed what sounds like a cameo as Gung Ho in G.I. Joe, while Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been offered the role of Shipwreck. The Stephen Sommers-directed action-adventure is now filming for an August 7, 2009 release.

The Rock as Shipwreck? I'll take the Rock any day. I don't see him as Shipwreck, but that's ok.

Fraser as Gung Ho? Now that I don't see. Gung Ho is more like Steve Austin. I'm not saying to get wrestlers for these parts, but if it's just a cameo, SCSA would probably work better.
