This thread can be about our fondest memories, past and present, with different comics professionals, past and present...

I'll go first....

Way back when... I remember I used to hang out and talk over life and experiences with Dan Panosian at a Denny's Diner in Anaheim during some lunch breaks and such from working at Extreme... He was a really cool guy. I miss those days sometimes.

One of my fondest memories with a comic personality happened with, you guessed it, Rob Liefeld, the great thing is i was only a witness.

SDCC circa 94-95. Me and a buddy are walking on the main floor near the food court area when he spots Rob, my buddy asks me if he should approach him for an autograph, i was like i dont know he looks busy, Rob had a binder about 2" thick on one hand a water bottle in the other, my buddy went ahead an approached Rob, i tailed behind, my buddy was like hey im a big fan can i get your autograph, Rob replies "i got my hands full" Rob puts out his hand with the waterbottle and says "but you can shake my bottle".

As for me, 3 year sago at SDCC i spent like 2 hours talking with Brandon Peterson talking shop.

Before I was a hard-fast pro, Erik Larsen would talk with me on the phone for long discussions about comics and such on several occassions... He's another one who's always been cool. I'm really happy that he ultimately landed as Publisher of Image. That's awesome.

Larsen always seemed like a cool guy. Now if he would only get a little help for Savage Dragon. I'd like to see some new issues!
