No, the spoiler is that part of the movie is set in WW2. I know it's not a big one, but some people can be very sensitive.

That's cool. Actually I was thrown by the fact that he looks like he might be in a US uniform. It's hard to tell from those shots though. It could be Canadian. EDIT: I just noticed the Yin/Yang symbol on the helmets and sleeves. Now I'm really confused. Yet, oddly psyched for this film.

I have a feeling that marvel is pushing deadpool in a giant way, so we'll be seeing ryan playing a big part.

DC's loss is Marvel's gain. If Marvel can make a great movie with Reynolds, then it's DC's fault for not getting the Flash movie in gear.

Actually Ryan has always wanted to play Wade apparently, he had a passing interest in wally but has apparently been a huge fan of wade for years.

Deadpool is a great character, but I get sick of the fourth wall stuff some writers are intent on including in his stories. I love nicieza, but I really dont like how his deadpool was SO goofy. The best deadpool was the original, he was funny, but he was also sick and twisted, in a darker way then we have seen recently. Hopefully they take the darker route for the movie.

I like the 4th wall stuff, but not so much of it. I definitely agree that I do not like Deadpool being goofy.

It would be funny to acknowledge the 4th wall stuff in the movie though. A wink at the camera or something would be funny.
