I thought so yes. Try fried oysters first. They're breaded and such. If you think they are too fishy tasting, then don't even bother with steamed or raw. Raw was just a bit too much fishyness for me so I had to switch to steamed.
I've always been grossed out by a lot of fish stuff (except for fried catfish and flounder. I grew up in the South) but since I moved to the beach, I've tried really hard to learn to like fishy stuff like crab and oysters and such.
