Cool, but they split the vote.

People voted for specific members. In the case of CSA I woulda asked for speicic one.. Certain teams I allowed ie: the Mad Men cuz they are known for that group, but when a group is made up of named characters, I asked for specifics. Its like saying your fav. hero is the JLA. Mind you, The Reach and White Martians are on the list so I did allow some "groups" persay..

G'nort is cool because he's lame everyone knows he's lame and he's treated as a joke. Ch'p....yeah no. It's too goofy for me. My point is the cat thing is the same concept. Take an Earth animal give it a ring. Kinda boring.

Bubba did Captain Cold do well? Please tell me he did well.

That's a good point. The groups like the Dominators or the White Martians make sense to be counted as one, while groups of actual characters should be broken up.

I thought about voting for the Reach, but I just couldn't justify it. I'd vote for Traci 13, Brenda, Paco, Jaime's parents, or most any of the supporting characters if I could, but the Reach just didn't quite make enough of an impression on me to get a vote.

I don't mean it as an insult, I should have said Jobbers. Guys that never have much success and instead lose easily, but actually have personality and history and have you know, actually had a speaking line in a comic before.

Exactly. They aren't terrible, but their sole purpose seems to be to make new heroes or teams look impressive by losing to them. They help make other characters look better.

See also: Rhino, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Prankster, Shocker, Flag Smasher, etc.

Some of these guys used to be legit threats with some amount of success, but none of them have been anything buy punching bags for years and years.

It's a tried and true formula that is used all the time in wrestling as well. The all time best jobber, in my opinion, is Val Venis, that guy can make anyone look like a top tier superstar. He sells better than anyone and controls the ring with the talent of a main eventer, all while deflecting all the accolades to his opponents. Plus his success as a former tag team and IC champ makes him look like a big enough name that beating him lends credibility to his opponents.

Well, yeah. In comics, it's the villain's job to job.

In most forms of entertainment really. Sure there are some exceptions, but most of the time in entertainment people want to see the bad guys lose and the good guys win.

I'm shocked TO Morrow didn't get more support. He's had a pretty prominent role lately, but it looks like maybe he just got chap's 5th place vote.

I have no idea who Cavalier is.

Trickster is cool, but that seems like the right number of points for him.

Damn Trickster got a raw deal. :(

And he tricked the devil too. Now I feel bad I didn't vote for him.
