New here! Concept Sketch of my new comic series

Postby alecho » Wed Dec 31, 2008 4:02 am

Hello! My name is Alex, and I am new to this forum.

I was raised in Japan, and I'm a big fan of manga, video games, and everything geeky ;) Currently I'm a working dentist, but my true passion is in cartooning. I hope to be an active contributor to this community, and hopefully make new friends! :)

I started my webcomic series called "American Otaku" about a month ago. I've also been working on another comic on the side. Here's some concept sketches of the new project.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm working on the script, but I need help with character design. thanx in advance!

Very interesting stuff!

A question for you: is this indicative of your art style? There's this odd graininess to a couple of these pieces -- you could probably benefit from cleaning it up a little. Of course, if it isn't, then just ignore me.

Great to see another artist here, and keep up the good work!
