I realized just now that this girl is a friend of a friend, and I've seen her talking to my friend which is why I figure I said "Hi".
Next time I see her I will go out of my way to say "Hi."

Maybe you should ask your friend to ask her friend if she likes you or something...
Ask her out for a coffee or something, you big sissy.

I then realized that it was a very strange moment. I thought about it, and it occurred to me that I'd never said a word to this girl before.
I thought this was going to lead into a story of her punching you square in the face for drawing her attention to yourself with that friendly greeting.

What is this, the 1950s? In the 21st century, you ask a girl out for fucking.

I facebook stalk an ex girlfriend on a regular basis. I'm getting worried b/c I notice that we have more and more mutual friends. I'm afraid we're going to run into each other soon.
