You're wrong. The media ignored any opportunity to go after Obama because they wanted him to win.

When hillary made bones about Obama being courted by the media, during one of their debates, the Media pulled back and said, "Hey, maybe we are sucking on his dick." And they started turning a more critical eye on the dude. And, while I can't speak for Fox or Newsbusters, I know that there wasn't a day that went by that CNN wasn't examining some shit about Rev. Wright or Bill Ayers.

And Lou Dobbs wasn't letting up on this muthafucka.

You keep going on about this liberal media bias and shit, but you only peruse biased sources in the first place, using them as an excuse to say "They're all fucking biased."

I remember when you were going on about how the liberal media didn't want to give Anne Coulter any airplay. But a fucking week after you were on a tear about that, guess which network she showed up on?

Liberal biased-ass CNN. Nobody yelled at her. Nobody patronized her views. Nobody cut off her mike. All of which are things that routinely occur on Fox News. But I don't see you complaining about that shit.

I ain't saying the media is perfect. I'm saying that if you open your eyes, expand your sources beyond Fox and newsbusters, you may find some muthafuckas out there to make you rethink your premise.

This has ALWAYS been about how this affects me personally for me. Specifically, how annoying I find liberal propaganda on the back of my breakfast cereal. It's been a secondary point that this obnoxiousness makes people like me reflexively dismiss ALL liberal ideas because I'm so fucking aggravated by it, and thus, maybe it's not such a good idea.

Then again, maybe it is, if your goal is to get more stupid people to vote. Because it certainly worked for them this time. But perhaps it might be better to appeal to an intelligent person like myself with honesty and rationality, instead of enraging me with propaganda. That's all I want from them.

All I want from YOU is to admit what they're doing, stop justifying it, and then we can discuss the actual issues on an even, honest level. However, while you cannot just say "Yes, the media worked purposely to get Obama to win the election," then we are starting off with dishonesty, and we're never going to get anywhere.

And all I want you to admit is that you're not making an effort to expand your sources beyond one or two networks that do put forth a bias. I mean, I didn't see you congratulating CNN for having the balls to play host to Anne Coulter. Because you probably didn't even see it.

I want you to admit that the only sources of interest to you are the ones most likely to support your own bias.

You've categorized yourself. Ain't nobody here putting any words into your mouth. For instance, nobody's forcing you to repeatedly make threads that flaime Obama or liberals, right? I mean, if you're neither a conservative nor a liberal, then occassionally, you might consider spamming the board with threads that aren't so vociferously anti-liberal.

And yes, I understand your explanation that you're only anti-liberal because you're so often exposed to them. I find that to be innately fallacious logic, because finding non-liberal sources is as easy as flipping the channel to fox or to Limbaugh.

I find it hard to believe that entire hosts of liberal activists are marching louldy past your door with any greater regularity than they employ anywhere else in the country. So avoiding them is as easy as changing the fucking channel.

Hell, I probably listen to conservative programming more than you do. I once forced myself to sit through an entire episode of hannity's radio show. It was all the way live.

With the notable exception of, say the Travelling Vinny Show, the person here who is most responsible for thrusting Obama into our faces is you. And vinny's not even around here that much. This shit would be hilariously ironic, given the basis of your beef with liberals, being obnoxious and what-not.

If you want to play the villain and draw strife onto yourself, start a thread about how Superman eats all the dicks for a change. or point out how you find it amusing that George Lucas happily flosses the plaque off his ass with the hopes and dreams of over-the-hill fanboys. Even the conservatives on the board get tired of seeing all the Obama threads.

But seriously, Jude, you have some very simple and basic solutions to your concerns.

--If you don't want to be blasted with what you perceive to be liberal viewpoints all the time, watch or listen to some prgramming with conservative bias instead.

--If you don't want anyone to label you as a conservative, it might behoove you to ease up on repeatedly spewing the party line.

They could have dug a little more deeply into Obama's 1981 trip to Pakistan, you know, just cause he was the Presidential candidate and stuff like that might possibly matter.

He says he was just visiting an old buddy. Fair enough, though I suspect he was there for the babes and the bikinis, or possibly to score some really cool drugs. But considering the amount of time the media spent on the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate's children, they might have wanted to maybe look at that a bit more.
