The Build-a-Lantern Project (UPDATED 01/26/09)

Postby vbartilucci » Sat Jan 10, 2009 4:00 pm

I've been posting pics on the 'rama but I thought you expatriates might like to see them too. I've started creating superhero costumes for Build-a-Bear Workshop toys. Here's what I've got so far.

These are all being created as gifts for assorted creators who'll be at the NYCC.

More pics at the International Norbert Conspiracy MySpace page

I've got several more in the planning stages.

So, whaddaya think?

Oh that's really cute too.

You should post here more often. Why let the Rama have you only? :-D

Also on the queue for the NYCC:

Flash (Barry)
Captain America (Donating as a fundraiser to the HERO Initiative)
Orange Lantern
Guy Gardner

Definitely planned after that:
Blue Beetle
Mon-El
other Lantern Corps (Violet, Indigo, Black)

Under consideration:

Black Hand
Cyborg Superman

Any other suggestions?

Pictures up at the Norbert site here.

I actually have considered Beppo - I have another couple of monkeys to use.

And Misfit is a REALLY neat idea - I've been trying to think of what character to do for Gail.

Considering Dave Gibbons will be at the NYCC, I'm trying to decide if I have time to do one of the Watchmen. I don't want to bite off the proverbial too much, tho.
