That kicked ass! So much so, I want to track down the issues/trade...

You know, with him in Spider-Girl, you would have figured Marvel would put out a new edition of a Hobby trade.

Again I asked them that last year. And again their response to me? "*points at me* HAHAHAHAHAHA.. seriously there's a trade out there. Go get that or wait till we get to it in the Amazing Spidey Omnibus."

The Omnibus? At this rate, it'll take fifteen to twenty years. The Essentials will get there well before then, but I don't want B&W Hobby.

Yeah, but I want a trade in color. That I can find. That collects the whole thing.

"Origin of the Hobgoblin" it was released in 1993 and it contains all the Roger Stern stuff.

Amazing Spider-Man vol. 1 #238-239, 244-245, 249-251
Spectacular Spider-Man vol. 1 #85

All those issues are reprinted in it. However, it only contains the Hobby related items. Any subplots are ommitted (Black Cat recovering from Doc Ock attacking her) and Pete having lingering feelings for MJ while dating Black Cat.

Wierd that they have the DemoHobgoblin on the cover when he doesn't even appear in it.

The Hobgoblin Lives trade was released in 1998. It also is out of print. It only contains the three issue mini and a summary of the important points of the entire saga.
