and not in the pedo way.

Have you ever been so interested in someone that you (non-creepily) pursued them even in the face of mounting defeat, throwing out all your "dating rules" and just gone for it?

Did it worK?

Hitting the quote button was easier that typing all that out again.

If you have to chase, like really break the rules chase, chances are you're ignoring the prett ovbious signs that whoever you're chasing isn't into you.

My best relationships...including and ending with Vicki...were those that were not forced. Honestly, even a dating noob should be able to tell who they do and don't have any chemisty with, and who they really gel with. Make friends, hang out with people, have fun, and see who gravitates to you. Dating really does come naturally, if you let it.

Tried, was going well, and then she freaked out independent of anything going on with us. That still smarts.

Almost, but then I moved on.

I tend to lose interest quickly.

I should add that my worst relationships were those that I had to force a little. If it feels like you're fighting to make something happen, chances are you're better off not trying so hard.

The only exception is when you're not really interested in a relationship, but really just want a hookup. I'm not endorsing that, nor denigrating it, but it does change the rules a little.

hehe.

actually, it's working out pretty good so far, and even if it doesnt i think i have a really good *gasp* female friend, which i didnt ever think was possible.

I was just wondering how much "chasing" people have done in order to get their significant other.

You mean like chasing her down a dark alley and trying to catch up before she can get the pepper spray out of her purse?
