Zod is featured in two DC Comics issues this week.

Source: Comics Continuum

Will Conrad comes onboard taking over as regular Penciler as Superman and Booster Gold's trip through alternate timelines takes a turn when they discover what Zod has been up to since issue #984. Meanwhile, Lois dives into a solo rescue adventure. And be sure to check out more of Zod starting in this weeks Hal Jordan And The Green Lantern Corps #37.

The DC Comics solicit says:

"Booster Shot," part four. "Booster Shot" part four! Superman and Booster Gold are out of time, and they've found themselves marooned on a strange planet sometime in the future. So why does this planet's infrastructure look...Kryptonian? The answer shakes the Man of Steel to the core as the ruler of this planet reveals himself...the son of Zod reigns supreme!

... Lois Lane was expecting?

I must have missed something.

Wasn't their son adopted, or was that the other Super-kid?

Yes, you missed a lot. :P Jon is their biological son, conceived and born during their time on Telos' alien world during "Convergence". How did you think he had super-powers?

Will Conrad did a great job with the artwork. It seemed like Jurgens drug the plot out a bit until the last page reveal but there was plenty of action along the way allowing Conrad to flex his pencilling. And Skeets dropped one huge teaser about an upcoming "Earth/Krypton War".
I especially liked how this issue connects to this weeks Hal Jordan And The Green Lantern Corps #37 but in different times. You don't need to read both issues but if you do it's like a fun Easter Egg. :smt023
