Earth 2 #10 Preview

As Wotan holds The Flash’s mother hostage, Khalid must finally come to terms with his destiny as Doctor Fate!

Source: USA Today

Be sure to check out USA Today's interview with Writer James Robinson as he delves into the background of the new Earth 2 Dr. Fate, Wotan, and he also teases what's coming up in later issues including:

- A mystery about Kent Nelson's death that will be explored further down the line.

-  The mystery of who killed Sam, Alan Scott's lover, which leads into another major arc starting with a big, shocking ending to issue #12.

- The debut of the Earth 2 Batman.

- Sonia Sato, a major in the World Army is "a big, big part of things" Robinson can't even talk about yet in the Earth 2 world. FYI:  pre-"New 52" relaunch, Sato was a member of the JSA as Judomaster.

"I want Earth 2 to be a book that you never quite know where it's going to go or what kind of villains or threats the heroes will be facing in the future."

This was a fairly dialogue-heavy issue but at least it felt like you were getting your money's worth. I hate some titles that you can literally flip through in 10 minutes because it's all art and no words.

And Nicola Scott does some pain-staking detailed art in the Tower of Fate scenes :smt023
