I'm looking forward to this. I've liked most of these characters (yes even Dr Druid -- he's a good character who was really badly used, sue me! :x ) and its going to be fun to see them working together. The only one I don't really care for is Deathcry.

Whereas I actually liked Deathcry but see no point in Dr. Druid or The Swordsman. It depends on which characters were on the Avengers when you started reading the title.

Fair enough as long as long as you admit that I have taste in Avengers members and you don't. :P

Really? Poll a majority of Avengers readers and you'll probably find about as many fans for Deathcry as you would Dr. Druid. At least Deathcry was written by Giffen.

BTW, my favorite Avengers are Iron Man, Wonder Man & Spider-Man. Deathcry does not even crack my top 25.

OK, so you have SOME taste when it comes to Avengers members -- still Deathcry? Really seriously -- Deathcry? :P

Knock me for liking Druid, but Deathcry was never in the awesomely bad Capwolf story. Druid is cool.

She was created in the 90s. :smt102

She's not the best character created in that decade, but she's FAR from the worst.

What decade was carnage created in?

Of course spidercide might be the worst of all.

Druid was also featured in this series which was written by Warren Ellis.
