let the butt hurt begin for the people that buy this and wonder why it isn't written by the "writer".

is the actual book going to list the "original writer" or is this just because this is technically "promotion?"

So they're going with Miracle Man rather than Marvel Man for this reprint?

So Mick Anglo wrote huh?

It's great that it's being reprinted, but really, it needs to be out as a collection or series of collections.

Miracle Man or Marvel Man, it worked then, it works now.

I am just happy Marvel is finally doing something with the character after buying the rights a few years ago.

It kind of bothers me not to see Alan Moore's name on the page. But this looks like the final version to me...

It doesn't bother me in the slightest and besides Moore is probably happier this way. :smt102

In this case he'd only be happier if Marvel gives his full share to Mick Anglo (pretty sure that's supposed to be the arrangement).

From a Moore interview last October...

The belief that he had accidentally been a participant in intellectual property theft led to Moore deciding that Mick Anglo, who originally created the character and may, in fact, have owned the copyright, should receive any royalties from a potential reprinting of Moore's work. "This was at a time when I thought, yes, I did do a lot of the work on it and it would be nice if, I don’t know, [Moore's daughters] Leah and Amber … were to profit from it in the future, but by the time that Marvel Comics were involved I just thought, 'No, let it go, give all the money to Mick Anglo,' " he explained.

Well, as long as he is happy.

By the way, does anyone know if Miracleman # 1 included a digital code?

Wow! Alan Moores stock went up in my eyes. I didnt think that was possible. They should just give the family the money and list Moore as the author though ffs.
