I like Cold and have heard good things about this book. I'm going to try this one out.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Manapul & Buccellato are delivering the goods both in art and in story. It's a smart, fun read.

As much as I love Cold and his gun, he needed this if would stay a Flash villain.

There is NO way non-powered Cold should be a threat to any Flash without the rest if the Rogues

Have you people all lost your minds???? The art is amazing. The book however has some of the most mediocre writing I've ever seen. And Barry Allen is SUPER LAME.

Did you read the first sentence of his post?

Yes, I did. It sounds like he thinks that since Cold no longer has his Cold-Gun that he doesn't have any cold powers/abilities/whatever.
Or that's how I interpreted his sentence. What else would "non-powered" mean in this context ?

He's saying that Cold needed to be empowered, as he is in this preview, in order to be a credible opponent for the Flash. A non-powered Cold, i.e., the one with a cold gun and nothing else, could not crediblely take on the Flash alone.

The issue was excellent! I liked the format of it. Had a movie feel as i read it, and the art is getting cooler by the issue.

I wish #7 came out this week :-/
