CLOWNIE
(A Graphic Noir Clownsploitation)

“As the spotlight dims on the Golden Age of clowns, two clowns must face their past, theirselves, and each other in an epic battle for the souls of all clowns...
or something like that. HONK”

Art Pushers Press, a publisher dedicated to expanding art and ideas, is proud to present: Clownie (A Graphic Noir Clownsploitation). Although it is a Graphic Novel, it is more of a picture book for grown-ups who remember the magic of illustrated books. The story centers on Clownie, a clown’s clown. Clownie isn’t a party clown, but a real clown from the Golden Age of clowns, when a clown was a clown. Clownie, like all real clowns, possesses a clown nature. It is that clown nature and its demands that Clownie the Graphic Novel explores. So, if you love clowns, hate clowns, fear clowns, or secretly wonder if you are a clown, you need to read this book. If not for yourself, for the children.

Clownie is available at www.artpushers.com

Hey, thanks for the replies, they were great.

We thought we’d start posting the first four pages of the story.
The book is 8.5 X 8.5, full color, 115 pages.

This is page Four, where the story begins.
Hope it looks alright, peoples’ brightness settings are all different.

(That Crispin Glover video is great. We came upon that pretty recently.)

Crispin is a surrealist hero, he's awesome.

I wasn't making fun when I said it was up Jude's alley, it's that he is the biggest Insane Clown Posse fan there is. Most people here don't know it, but he actually both met his wife at an ICP concert and conceived his first child at the same venue--although with another person entirely.

I used to have a creepy hallway full of scary clown art, it did the trick after vagrants kept breaking into the hallway to do crack or take a crack-nap.

I think the book looks cool! I missed when it'll be out so I'll check your first message.

According to Wikipedia, the population of The Gathering is 99.57% white, I don't see why Jude wouldn't be a fan? :?

(Sorry, the color and brightness on the computer don't match the book.)
