Decided recently that I would try to get back drawing again and figured this site would help motivate me. Thought I start with some of my old stuff.
Pretty much all the stuff I'll be posting are a few years old and are mostly just pencils with a little photoshop touching up.
I really want to start getting a more finished look, unfortunately in the past I never stuck with a piece long enough.

I've been going through my old pieces and thought I would stick up these ones I did for an idea a friend and I were working on a few years back.
We were working on a comic book idea that was a mix of as many genres as possible.
Post apocaliptic western with dinosaurs, zombies and anything else that I fancied drawing at the time.
Nothing ever came of it but going over my old stuff I thought it might be fun to post some of the concept ideas.
Our main character was going to be a dino/human hybrid who we were temporarily calling Spike.
Outcast gladiator type figure, who fought dinosaurs.

The rest of the pictures are a collection of the other ideas we had of robot rangers, dino cowboys and other things that never made any sense.

I really like your style. It has a cartoony edge, but is still suitable for comic stuff.

Just thought I'd post what I'm working on at the moment just so it doesn't look like I forgot about posting.
Unfortunately GTA4 is too tempting some nights.
I've been working on this picture of Captain Marvel.
Mainly been working on tiding the image up and I'm still not sure about the legs.
But I'm happy with the direction it's going.

I'm not sure about the legs either, but I love the tones.

Thanks.
Just thought I'd stick up some of my older pieces.
Quality varies from just quick sketches to longer pieces but I just thought I'd post them anyway.

I love the quick sketches. They have a great sense of movement to them.

Greg wrote:Hey, Derm. You up for doing a short script?! :)

Yes, but the next few months would be hard for me to commit to doing anything fast.
I work during the day and my wife is 8 months pregnant so when the big day arrives it might take a while for things to settle down.
Your short stories I've read though would be something I'd be interested in.
I mentioned over in your thread how much I like that type of stuff.
As long as we weren't needing a deadline for anything I'd be happy to try at least flesh something out with some pictures.
Ideally though drawing a whole story would be great.
