Dude, that's some nice paint jobs. Have you ever built a figure from the sculpt up? If so I'd love to see what you could do w/ a figure of mine.

But realistically, I could put you in touch if you want w/ the dude that's actually designed some of the sculpts you may or maynot be using?

He posts at another board I go to and he's got various images from the different joes he's designed.

I have some of the figures.

Again good work, i'm glad to see you really rocking this Blud Blood mofo for all it's worth.

I've never built a figure from the ground up. I have done a sculpture or two, but never an action figure.

I'd love to be put in touch with your friend. If he does customs, that's awesome. I'm only learning myself and it's always great to get tips from more experienced people.

Ok, let me find the link, i'm on a new computer so I don't remember all of my passwords. He did the character design as a freelancer I think for Hasbro.

I got my hands on a Tunnel Rat figure and was thinking of ways to cut him up, when I really started liking the figure. (It's a good thing I have another which I can cut up.) I decided to make him part of my Blud Pack, but that was going to necessitate some tweaking.

It was going to take some paint to give him some red on his uniform, as you can see here. It's still a wip so the upper body is not done yet. Why are the holes in the harness filled in? That's where I put the magnets!

On the back view you can see one of my wife's contributions to this figure. She sewed some elastic through some holes I Dremeled in the harness to create a holder for his butterfly knife/balisong.

I also added a holster from the ParaDuke harness, which I had cut for my SE custom. I placed a little piece of plastic at the end to keep the gun from going down too far. The little red you see on his shoulder will become a Philippine flag when I finish. :shock:

I couldn't stop there though. What's that at the end of his gun, you ask?

It's a magnet to hold the silencer I made. (The silencer also has a magnet inside the barrel.

Finally, that silencer also fits onto his MP5, which I also attached a magnet to. And now Tunnel Rat can carry all his equipment (grenades attached by magnets) and fit right in with the Blud Pack!

I probably won't have time to finish him for another week or so, but I really wanted to show you guys.
