I showed my sequential art work to a friend and he said it looked sophomoric to him. So I want your honest opinion. Because if I'm wasting my time I want to know before I commit 2 years toward doing a graphic novel. I would appreciate any comment and I'd like to thank you in advance.

the panels could use some work, especially the first three (something about the faces seems off to me).

but, the 5th panel is gorgeous. Nice style.
the problem with the interior shots is that in comparison they look too cartoony

Oni2030: You defintiely are an expert in digital inking / coloring, I think no one can argue against that. Alse the design of the buildings and ships is wonderful. I think in general terms your work is very good, I would only suggest to work more in your anatomy and facial expressions.

As Arion said, you definitely need to refine your sense of anatomy. I'd add that you could use some work on your coloring too. I know you have some shadows in there, but overall, you need to show more contrast. The colors are still too flat.

The designs and the modeling are very good, though.

I'm curious about the lowered opacity on the word balloons. Is there a reason for that?

I just like it when they blend into the background like that. Thanks for the comments guys I've been working in a vacuum ever since I left art college. It's been really hard to be subjective and figure out where I need improvement.
