Sam Gagner scored eight points against the Blackhawks last night! No player had scored eight or more points in a game since Mario Lemieux in the 1980s.

I stopped watching the game after the first period because I was tired. Gagner (well, the whole Oilers team) was held pointless in the first period.

Jeff Carter traded to the Los Angeles Kings for Jack Johnson and a 1st-round draft pick. Bluestreak, I need an analysis!

I don't trust our GM one iota to use that draft pick wisely, but Jack Johnson seems to be a quality defensemen, which we are definitely lacking right now. Hopefully, this means we'll keep Rick Nash, as it would be pretty damn stupid to get rid of him.

Are you a Leafs fan? Do you think they'll get the centre they need to play alongside Lupul and Kessel?

I like Bozak (best last name ever) but he's 2nd line at best.

Jack Johnson is not a good defenseman. He has good offense, but he's terrible in his own end. Getting offense from your defense is good, but a defenseman who doesn't know what he's doing in the D-zone is exactly what you don't want.

At least Jeff Carter gets to reunite with his BFF and has a whole new set of teammates whose wives he can bang.
The witness said Mr Brown then called out to Ms Hay's adult daughter: "Look at this, I'm tittie-f***ing your mother!".

Bozak is good. What they really need is to add some better talent to the Grabhovski line.

Not a Leafs fan since 1998, and I have no clue what they will do at the deadline. They have some valuable assets (Grabovski, Schenn, maybe even Gustavsson according to pundits) and I have to imagine that Burke would love to do a soft sell yet still make the playoffs.

Bozak works as a Steve Rucchin type 1st line centre. He wins faceoffs, plays strong defensively, and does not drag down Kessel or Lupul. Not a typical 1st line centre but the A-listers are rarely on the block. The Leafs' problem appears to be goaltending this season despite Reimer playing well last year.

They need a goalie. Reimer's good but not seasoned enough.

I think they'll trade Grabovski.

I heard the Leafs were linked with the Islander's goalkeeper Nabokov. Fairly solid veteran.

What the Leafs need more than a goalie is a proper defense man. Phaneuf sucks (I don't know why they put so much faith in him), and Schenn is decent, but overrated. Just to name a few.
