Oh god...Reb Brown...with the transparent shield and the motorcycle? It was like the Duke boys had sex with Marvel...

Believe me, bringing Cap to the screen is no easy feat. In a lot of ways he's one of the most difficult, and not just because of that discreet uniform.

Which Cap film was that? The one with JD Salinger's son as Cap?

Whoa, wait, wait, wait...Val Kilmer...Christopher Lambert...AND Lee Horsey is back?

Sweet.

I mean, I don't see Katy Perry listed, but it can't be a perfect world, right?

The first time you see an actor in that costume..those colors...the wings...the fake ears -- oops...bad decision that. Looked good in the studio but not in 100 degree humid weather...got kinda...weird looking.

I actually am going to upload my director's cut of the film. I think I own the only 35mm widescreen copy of the film now.

Katy's in the film I have coming out this week, "Bulletface" (www.bulletfacemovie.com). Kidding. But all the sound and music was done in Santa Barbara where she's from I believe. Is that close enough or no cigar?

Yeah, Lee Horsley is back. And so is a certain unwieldly sword.

Albert Pyun wrote:Hi Everyone,

This is Albert Pyun...yes, yes, I desecrated Captain America. And believe me, I've been paying for that misfire for 20 years. I wish the new filmmakers luck and a budget larger than a million dollars. Believe me, they'll need it. Cap's a tough character to realize properly.

I've actually discussed the trials and tribulations of making the 1990 film in some blogs on my website, www.albertpyunmovies.com. In no way can I be forgiven but it does shed a little light into the dark crevice that was that filmmaking experience. I've has a few worst situations since but no so disappointing. That blog covers some of that.

Enjoy this site and the forums in particular!

Whatever, dude. You got more of that movie right than several other Super Hero movies. I was just happy to see the costume on screen. Back then we weren't as spoiled with this kind of movie as we are now.

Thanks for that! hope the director's cut of the 1990 film will be of interest. Its totally different that the release version. More WW II screen time.

Awesome.

That sword frigging mystified me when I was a kid. My dad kept saying how impractical it was, and I was like, who cares? it has three blades! And you can shoot people with two of them!

When is it coming out? I'll buy it for sure. All I see on Amazon right now is the PAL version.
